It is played out loud, in a room
playHotseat is played out loud in a room. That is the whole point, and it is also the thing to be careful with: the person in the seat is the one everybody is looking at.
Nobody has to take a turn
A host can skip a question, pass a round, or end the night early, and none of that breaks the game. If a round has stopped being fun for somebody in the room, stopping it is the correct move, not a forfeit.
If a question lands badly, tell us
Questions are about films and songs. If one lands badly with your group, tell us and we will pull it.
